Apostille or consular legalisation?
The answer depends on two things: the country that ISSUED the document and the country where it will be USED. Pick both and see which route applies, in how many steps and how many days.
Unless marked otherwise, an apostille is enough. The two countries marked in burgundy are not party to the 1961 Hague Convention.
