This is an information site
It sets out our services, the steps involved and the typical timings. Nothing is sold here: there is no basket, no checkout, no online payment.
The working relationship is formed in the office or in writing, by both sides. Reading the site or sending a form does not by itself form a contract.
The timings are estimates, not promises
The day counts on these pages are typical ranges. The appointment date and the processing speed are set by the institution — notary, ministry, consulate, university.
What we undertake is that your file does not sit waiting there. We do not set their calendar. That distinction is written across the site and it is written here too.
The accuracy of what you tell us is yours
The details you give in an enquiry need to be correct. A name spelled differently, a wrong document type or a missing fact can send the process back to the start.
If you send us personal data belonging to someone else, we assume you are entitled to send it.
How you may use the site
You may read it, print it, share the link and quote from it.
- The text, design, drawings and video are ours; they may not be copied and published under another brand.
- Flooding the site with automated requests, attempting to get past its security, or disrupting the service is not acceptable.
- Do not use our brand names in a way that ties your own service to ours.
Links that leave this site
There are links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Yandex Maps and Google Maps. Once you click, that site's own rules apply; it is not under our control.
Limits of liability
We keep the information current, but legislation and institutional practice change. The list of countries party to the Hague Convention is the clearest example: China joined in 2023, Canada in 2024.
So rather than deciding on the strength of a web page, check the position with us before you apply. We cannot be held responsible for decisions taken on the general information here; the work you instruct us to do is our responsibility.
Two offices, two legal systems
Doc City operates in Moscow, Mirrefah in Istanbul. Which office you deal with decides the governing law and the competent court — the same split applies to privacy (see the privacy policy).
For a relationship formed through Istanbul, Turkish law and the Istanbul courts apply. Through Moscow, the law of the Russian Federation and the Moscow courts.

Changes
These terms can change. When they do, the date at the top of the page changes with them; we keep the earlier version and will provide it on request.
